“I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). ”

“Clean room, very helpful attentive staff. The amenities were those expected of a b&b. Our only qualms about our stay was there was no offer of remuneration re: the boiler having broken down.”

“We spent a lovely night at the B and B. Everything was perfect and they even left a G and T and beer in the fridge for us to enjoy and fresh milk in a jug. The beds were extremely comfortable and the water piping hot. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and our hosts could not have been more welcoming We will return again”

“What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. “Super nice B&B in the welsh countryside... as close to a town (Ammanford) as you would want but far enough away to be rural. Rooms (we have stayed there twice in the past month) are really rather nice, showers have plenty of hot water and the hosts, Jane and Nigel, serve a breakfast that keeps you going for the rest of the day”
