"This hotel was in a very good location. There were a ton of activities and places to eat surrounding the hotel. The room was clean and the private beach by the bay was nice. I just wish there weren't so many sea gulls surrounding the beach and hotel entrance way."

"Really loved the hotel but def needs cable tv for night time watching. You only get a couple channels and they all suck lol! Beds were comfy and the shower water was piping hot, which I loved. The view from our balcony, ocean block, was amazing. The AC makes no sound so if you need a fan sound to sleep, bring your own. I was discouraged reading so many other bad reviews on here but glad I gave it a try anyway. The staff were wonderful and so helpful so tidelands def deserves all stars. I could see the parking being an issue too but almost anywhere downtown is like that. We stayed end of August and had a great parking spot. You’re in walking distance to anything you’d need so once you’re parked you are set."
