The place was beautiful. Great place and Ken and Kelly made us feel so at home. We are from Massachusetts and are looking to purchase a home in NC. Our stay was amazing. The property grounds are well taken care of and absolutely stunning. We will definitely be going back to this place

We had a wonderful time at this Bed and Breakfast. The cottage was nestled in a residential area and perfectly secluded. Beautiful house with a wonderful nature and bird theme to it. The rooms were perfect and very comfortable. Very easy to navigate throughout the house. The living and sitting areas were cozy and inviting. Wonderful stay! Yummy breakfast and comfortable beds!

This was our first Bed and Breakfast stay. The staff was genuinely warm and friendly, and the breakfast was very good. I enjoyed the fellowship with the other guests, young and old. There was always a desert for a late night snack, that was delicious, too. Although not luxurious, it was definitely comfortable,clean and quiet. We stayed in the house, but they offer cottages, which came highly recommended by the "regulars". I would definitely consider returning and/or recommending this place...

Very peaceful and relaxing property. I love the view from the loft. You can watch the sun rise straight from your bed. There is a very neat mediation point just steps from the cabin. Great for prayer and a quiet moment with God. The view of the river is gorgeous too and can be seen from loft and back porch area which has two rocking chairs and an area to make a fire.

The room we booked was very neat and clean, it was a warm and welcoming environment. If I had to stay again I definitely would, as it was a gorgeous location. I also liked the no-contact features of the venue and how easy it was to get checked in and out. My one critique, which I can't judge too harshly for, was the parking was a little confusing and cramp. Understandably though, it is on a mountain and there's not much that can be done to shape it. Overall a lovely stay!

We only stayed for 1 night but really enjoyed our stay. The location was great. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit, as well as our breakfast the following morning. The staff was very pleasant.

The same price as national chains in the area but you get character, charm and great service. I had a fireplace in the room, original hardwood flooring in great shape; no chain can compare. Then, a friendly bar/restaurant on the main floor that the locals patronize almost had me singing the song from "Cheers".....where everybody knows your name.....

It is an amazing property, I had doubts when I booked , but it was well above our expectations!

We were looking for a nice, peaceful place to get away and this was the perfect place.

Was very clean and quiet and very Romantic. The breakfast was great the chef did a fantastic job of making it. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was a great 29th anniversary for . Me and my husband. I will go back.

Dogwood Inn is truly a magical place. From the moment we arrived, Jim and Cindy made us feel genuinely welcome. Cindy’s breakfasts were absolutely outstanding—homemade, delicious, and one of the highlights of our stay. Very nice place our room was excellent nice beds and super quiet surroundings. Location is very convenient for visiting the surrounding state parks. Breakfast is very simple, but freshly baked.

The view was awesome and the breakfast was super good. My wife and I plan on going back.

Beautiful farmhouse with individual rooms. About a 15 minute drive to the local grocery store and restaurants. The breakfast was wonderful and the hosts were very friendly. Would definitely stay there again!

Stayed in the bear suite, decorated nicely with the theme. Had breakfast items, drinks in frig, coffee, everything you need for quick breakfast and pastries that were very good. Bathroom items, they are very thoughtful on having the supplies you need. Overall a very comfortable place to stay and within walking distance to Main Street.
