6/10 Okay

"Th staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The owners, however, were terrible. I booked a room for four people (2 adults, 2 teens). In the room there were only 2 towels. We went to the desk and got two more with no issues. The next evening we got back to the hotel and our room hadn't been cleaned. No big deal but we needed more towels. Again I went to the desk but this time only the owner was on duty. It took me a while to rouse her from a nap I assume and then it was like I was asking for the keys to her car. She followed me to the room to get my dirty towels to make an even exchange. We were checking out the next morning and it could have waited. No one is going to try to steal their worn out stain riddled towels anyway. When I went to check out this morning I was met with the same 'winning' personality again. She was very rude and short even though all I needed to do was to had her my key cards. I like this hotel and the price but the owners are an issue. Just their attitude alone will make me check other hotels in the area when I'm back."

"No ice bucket, had to use my gallon zip bag. Ice machine was down a filthy hall, vending machine was empty and dirty. Room smelled of cigarette smoke, paint splatter on the bathroom floor. The whole building looked run down and unkept. It wasn't apparent where the office was, we drove around the building and found someone to ask where it was. We had to go to the office at the neighboring hotel, which took care of both hotels. They have long term rates and it appears as some folks live there."
