"We stayed here many years ago and the property doesn’t seem to have been updated since. It has basic amenities, is within a short drive to Watkins Glen and several wineries. The staff is very friendly. Nice touches are the glass of wine at check in, complimentary bottle of wine in your room and wine tasting for two."

"The Radisson In Downtown Corning is a centrally located hotel for a holiday weekend visit to Corning. Accessible parking, quick check in, comfortable king size room with remodeled bathroom. Enjoyed being able to walk right from the hotel to the downtown main street with lots of shops, restaurants and we lucked out with a street festival during our stay. The staff at the hotel bar were friendly for a drink after dinner. The only things to improve on at the hotel, we were in the back building so you had to walk through the main building to enter a separate building & the elevator was so slow. It only had 3 floors wasting time coming & going waiting for the elevator. And the room window easily opened to let fresh air in but there was no screen & didn’t want to let bugs in. I would return on a future visit."

"The unit we were at, electronic door was not easy to open, always frustrated to open and also the whole week we lived without any potential service for our towels or trush, so we had to do clean and maintain by ourselves. It is a self-service hotel and especially I tried to contact the hotel team after I checked in, nobody reply-- only before check-in and before Check out, they will contact customers."

"We booked 3 months in advance. Booked because of the location and it had a pool. We selected pay at the hotel. The day before arrival they ran our card. We thought that was strange. Showed up. Pool was out of order and the room was disgusting. There was dust and dirt everywhere including the ceiling. Called hotels.com and asked for a partial credit since the room we had booked months in advance for $142 was $74 that night. They said all they could do was $25 key cash. Was on the phone for an hour wasting my vacation time. For nothing."

"For this type of hotel I would definitely expect a better coffee in the morning. It was regular item of coffee and a really tacky small cooler with jugs of milk. No flavors, no anything. The bartender was nice enough but had NO IDEA how to make drinks. Which was clear by her studying her notes and taking 10 minutes to make a drink."
