"Beautiful old building, the reception area/bar/lounge areas were fab. A little tasty around the edges....tables literally, but I loved the feel. The outdoor, heated pool was a real bonus....I didn't expect it to be as warm as it was! Only downside, I saw someone spraying the weeds around the Pool & was unable to find out what they used!
The receptionist who checked me in was amazingly helpful & cheery. The rest of the staff were very helpful, but there seemed to be an apathy/ underlying issues, which made the staff seem aloof.
For a one night stay it was perfect & I would happily stay again. I really hope the staff are looked after so they can give their best selves."
