"The property is very sketchy. It’s next to a large homeless encampment. They wanted to keep my driver’s license as a deposit but settled for $15 cash instead. There’s no way I was going to travel around in a city where I don’t live without identification. The first room they gave me a key for hadn’t been cleaned. The bed was unmade and ther was an empty can of Dr. Pepper on the nightstand. I went back to the front desk and they gave me a key for a different room, not quickly. They seemed unsure about what they had available. The second room didn’t have any empty soda cans and the bed looked made but closer inspection revealed there was no fitted sheet on the mattress or under the bedspread. I went back to the front desk and asked for cash deposit back and left. Then I contacted Hotels.com to try and get a refund. Stay very, very far away from this place. I don’t mind cheap, kinda sketchy places because I like seeing people and how they live in real life but this place was too mega, even for me! "

"The staff was helpful and the breakfast was awesome. Valet parking is too expansive and there is cheaper parking nearby. Was there for a concert at Dos Equis Pavilion. Took an Iber to venue which was great."

"The property was very chic but didn’t feel as welcoming. Was greeted quickly, wasnt asked to be assisted or needed anything. My phone in my room didn’t work so I couldn’t call down to speak to anyone. When I ordered coffee thru the QR code which was easy to do. I never received it. When I checked out I had to tell them I never received my coffee and it seemed like an inconvenience. Just minor things but still makes a difference in enjoying the hotel experience "

"Really clean and modern space. The elevators can be a little confusing, but once you get that down it is a perfect stay! Amazing views, multiple spaces to use (bar, golf simulator, extra media room). Would recommend!"

"Great staff, clean rooms, great views, very clean hotel. All staff nice and especially the waitress, I dint catch his name all i remember he said he was from Argentina. He was so kind, he had very amazing service skills. Thank you"

"If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to the Baylor Medical Center, then this is the place. If you are looking for a place that is 5 star, this is not the place. Rooms were clean, but had to ask for more towels and room did not get cleaned til day 3. Hallway carpets were filthy. Breakfast was good."

"We celebrated my husband’s birthday at the Joule. The room was nice and spacious. It was located near many restaurants that were in walking distance. We had an issue with parking. We had to circle the hotel several times for valet parking. We were considering parking in one of the parking garages but we didn’t know which garage was for the hotel. Would we stay here again? Yes but we would park in one of the parking garages instead."

"Overall, my experience was disappointing. The hotel had a noticeable odor in hallways and elevators, the staff was not welcoming, and housekeeping did not fully clean the room beyond making the bed. I would never book again."
