“We stayed in Holly Room at Holly Lodge , it was an amazing experience from start to finish !!!
The check was so simple even in the dark at a very late hour
Our room and facilities within the room were stunning 😍
The service the following morning was 2nd to none and the food , presentation was perfect and so tasty .
The gardens were so pretty , wild but very well maintained.
Coedy was so lovely as were all the staff ... i loved the open plan kitchen area !

“The property is in a small village. Pub next door , but otherwise its a peaceful , quiet area. Wells next to sea is about a 5min drive away.
My room was nice, it had a kettle, iron,Ironing board, bathroom was clean and shower hot. The beds were good and the room was clean. There is some parking on site. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was also good. I really enjoyed my stay here.”
“Great place to stay with dogs. Nice rooms and a kitchen. They also provide EV Car charging which I took advantage of for £20/day. This property does not come up on the Hotels.com search filter for EV charging locations. ”

Aylsham is a gorgeous place to visit and the unique ships, range of restaurants and warm welcome from the people who live and work there have left a really positive and heart warming impression on me. “Wonderful property, staff amazing.
Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power.
It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay.
As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime.

“So pet friendly. Would def try for the garden rooms as steep stairs to the pet friendly room above the pub but we booked late and only stayed one night so wasn’t an issue. Staff are always so friendly , atmosphere is great and good delicious. Def one of our favourites ”

Outside area for drinks and dinner is attractive.

“This was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. A beautiful, well equipped room with a great view of the marshes. We stayed on a Sunday and booked a hamper for tea. It was so delicious! I highly recommend Cley Windmill as a great place to stay in a lovely place\

“A great country pub to stay at. Very quiet and rural, coutry lanes all around. Very welcoming and friendly and great breakfasts. Rooms were to a high standard and the staff were great. It was just a pity that our stay had to be cut short by 3 days due an incident at home. Would like to return next year”

The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and a credit to Mark and Maria :) The food was incredible, all local produce with lovely fresh seafood specials and all very well seasoned!
