โThe rooms were in nice condition and made for a comfortable stay! The staff, including Hector, were polite, friendly, and accommodating. I would book a room here again. โ
โI was extremely happy with the room, the cleanliness, the condition of the room and the Air Conditioning (!) at this hotel. I have stayed in long stay hotels before and the cleanliness was not top notch...and the facilities generally show wear and tear. Wear and tear was minimal, cleanliness was great, and everything worked really well. Other than a homeless guy outside when we arrived, the place was super!โ
โThe Viking is one of the 1950s-era motels that are common on Interstate Avenue, from the days when it was one of the main arterials for visitors to Portland from the north. It has been renovated and well-maintained, though, and is a good choice for people looking for reasonably-priced accommodation in north Portland. It is very close to a light rail stop, and also to bike lanes and bicycle-friendly streets.โ
โGreat hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms, Excellent decor. Breakfast station was wonderful and bar stay open till 2 PM. Highly recommend the hotel, but not near many amenities.
Great valueโ
โPeople at the Front desk received us while talking through telephone. No breakfast which is quite surprising. Hard to believe how this hotel get hogher than 7.0.โ
