โThe villa was amazing - awesome views from the patio. It had everything you needed for that stay away from home. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Franshhoek town centre along a well marked path but Ubers were also plentiful. Esme and the Team really make you feel welcome - I'd definitely stay again.โ

I loved the warm welcome, the attention to detail & the fabulous interior design. The views of the vineyard are incomparable and breathtakingly picturesque. The pears growing on the walls of the house are unbelievable! I didnโt want to leave! โ

We spent five nights in the petite apartment, which is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and a braai. The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. Itโs well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Highly recommend a visit, weโll be back!โ

The service was exceptional โ warm, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful without ever being over the top. Every little detail was taken care of, which made it all so easy and relaxing. A perfect base for exploring Franschhoek โ weโll absolutely be back!โ

โHad a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough itโs a place of tranquility and splendour.โ

โAmazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink.
Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. โThe Cottage is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, the host Jan has thought of everything. The private area outside and the pool are fab, pretty garden with lots of flower's and shrubs to attract the birds. Jan sent us useful information on booking and then more on check in which helped us decide how we would spend our time, he gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and vineyards to visit. There were lots of lovely little touches each day it was definitely a 5 star...
