“We loved our room with the balcony area that provided a beautiful view of the mountains. Staff were very welcoming and spoke English which was very helpful! Beds were super cozy and the room had ample space for moving around and storing our luggage. We also loved that there was onsite parking.”

The place is lovely nestled in a mountain Valley. Very close to the main road. There are lovely, hiking trails nearby and has good access to Lourds. “Excellent food both at breakfast and in the lovely restaurant. Both rooms have incredible sea views which we greatly appreciated. The spa and the outdoor therapy pool were nicely appointed. Our massages were arranged on our arrival and were perfect. We were there on cool overcast days so we didn’t take advantage of the beach directly across from the hotel. But it was tempting. They made us and our dogs welcome and we truly enjoyed our stay at La Elmes. ”

I can’t say enough good things about this property. The owner/host speaks English and was so helpful as we sat at their beautiful bar with champagne. If in Cauterets this is the place to stay.”
