"Clean room but property looks old and run down, parking was a plus, 15-20min walk to the parks, no shuttle but we took the ART bus at Toys Story parking lot, which was very helpful. Breakfast was good on the first morning but then it became repetitive. Most of the staff were great, 1-2 were rude. Pool was small but refreshing after a long day at the Parks. "

"I took my 13 year old son to Disney and Knott's, so we stayed for a week. Check-in was quick considering they were pretty busy. The room was nice and clean. The tub drained properly (a huge bonus and a rarity for hotels these days). I really liked the boysenberry scented shampoo and conditioner, but I was disappointed that I could not purchase it. Oh well. Gift shop only took cards, so we didn't buy anything there. The hotel breakfast (not included in price) was also really good. I would definitely recommend this place, and would stay here again. "

"The breakfast restaurant is only open until 11:30 and is excellent. Find some other place to eat thereafter, the menu is Italian style light fare like pizza and spaghetti. Avoid the meatballs. Yuk Rooms are bland and mediocre for the price. There's a small shallow pool with concrete deck for sun bathing. "

"Hotel Maya was amazing. When we checked in, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were staying with family and asked to be close together which they accommodated with no problem. We had reservations at the Queen Mary for dinner and walked there in about 10 minutes. The staff told us the best way to go. It was a pretty and safe walk. There was a nice place to sit and have drinks right by our rooms in building 4. We had breakfast at Fuego which was right next to the water and a great location. We were headed to Catalina after our stay and it took us about 5-10 minutes to get to the ferry. Our beds in the room were comfortable and the AC was great! Our balcony faces the parking lot but we didn’t mind. It was very quiet. All of us loved Hotel Maya and would absolutely stay here again. "
