“We had a really restful stay. My wife’s 70th birthday fell on the Tuesday. The only downside was the fire alarm going off that morning! But the staff were great.”

“This was a lovely place to stay for business. The staff were fantastic and friendly. The food and drink were great. The only things that could be improved would be getting rid of the dirt and mould on the shower screen and bath edge and changing the shower/bath mixer for a better quality one to control the shower temperature without fluctuation. As the venue attracts a lot of working travellers why not offer an earlier breakfast at 0700 or even 0630. More people might take it up then.”

“Very clean, lots of hot water & value for money. Some kind of hook needed in bathroom for clothes or dressing gown. Noisy at front of hotel that overlooks a busy A road when windows are open at night. Quiet once windows were closed. ”

“As for the hotel and location it’s great spot ! For sleeping to hot , Train noise and pillows lumpy not nice at all . One receptionist a bad attitude on arrival it was 2pm with the word WHAT . I said we would like to book in answer ! NOT TILL 3PM . Shoot me down ! ”
