“This was our second stay here. Fairly basic, but ideal to use as a base to sleep as you explore other things. The hotel was clean, as were the rooms. We were very pleased to note how quiet the rooms were, enabling a good noghts sleep. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was more than adequate with a good hot shower. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast included was more of a takeaway , and would certainly be an acquired taste! But overall, very good for that...

“I love this hotel but on this occasion I have been left very disappointed with the facilities as a resident at !0 30 pm I would expect to be able to enjoy a drink in the bar before going to bed but at 10 25 when I got to the bar it was closed not only my self but five fellow residents were also gutted that bar was closed thankfully the Comet a few doors away was still open for our patronage. “Loved the interior of the pub and the dining room . All of the staff were pleasant and helpful especially Ross who was friendly , professional and very helpful. We had one of the annexe rooms and it was very peaceful , clean and facilities were excellent . We were very happy with our evening meals and breakfasts . Would happily return .”

“We stayed in a pet room. It was very clean. The breakfast was lovely too. Great stay for a great price. The TV remote didn't work, the iron didn't work and the kettle took a while to boil - on reflection, i'd still give it 4/5 re the cost.”

“Pleasant staff, straightforward check-in and easy to find off A1. Had family room, it was fine but very small. Thankfully just one night stay. I quite liked separate toilet so people could use sink if someone on loo. Decent mattress but hot in room, couldn't leave window open because of traffic noise. Very good value and breakfast was nice.”
