A great hotel with very nice rooms with great facilities, very clean and a great addition the small kitchenette in the rooms. A good simple menu done to a great standard and good value. Friendly staff and good Service. One negative the room was just a tad expensive. but overall very Nice and hopefully i will be back.

Excellent & spacious room, lovely big bed, modern bathroom. Breakfast cooked to order, spot on. Handy location just set back from main road, across which is a small beach. The little kitchenette area made the"can't be bothered to go out again this evening, let's shop at the local supermarket and eat in" practical

Right across from the beach which was great but the busy road is also right there. Very spacious room and the man working was wonderful, we’d definitely come here again.

The property is very well looked after and clean. The staff is very friendly and the room on 2 levels just perfect. We could have stayed longer and we're to come back again

The room we where in it was hot inside with only one window to open and it didn’t open up enough for enough a breeze to come in. They did supply one fan but it was unusually hot for June in Scotland.

Lovely place with excellent breakfast in the fridge, however really close to main “highway” and very noisy . Room had minimal ventilation and no fan to cater for the heat

Lovely place. Only drawback was restaurant and bar closed. Did get food delivered from restaurant to room.not much choice and quite pricey for what it was

Great location and lovely room
Only a flying visit as had an event at Turnberry, however even although the restaurant wasn't open the hotel exceeded my expectations, room was lovely, huge bed, very clean and everything you needed. Def. recommend and will return.

Relaxing stay by the sea.
Room was very comfortable and views from our room was fantastic. A weekend of beach walking with our dog. Food was delicious and great night sleep.

Dog friendly and attentive to Celiac's needs!
Super nice staff. Very attentive to my being celiac and needing special food for breakfast. They were awesome! Also dog friendly, which is GREAT since we are always traveling with our dog, Milo!

Excellent facility
The room was spacious and very well laid out. Due to the current pandemic restrictions there was no bar or restaurant available and food was serviced off a room service menu. Breakfast was a buffet affair that was in the room and due to the new kitchenette that was fitted, made a welcome change

This was an overnight stay. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities. The continental breakfast was generous. Room service menu was good as was food quality.

The Hotel room was clean and comfortable the hotel was shut so couldnt get drink or meal in hotel, had room service so ordered meal to eat in bedroom, poor menu choice no starter or sweet just option 4 mains, no cooked breakfast which is absolutely appalling for money they are charging £168 what a joke, 2 croissants jam fruit yoghurt, no damn good to a farmer was flippin starving had to call for breakfast on way home before a 4.5 hr drive back, only good thing was nice view but complete rip off

Woodland Bay hotel was great, pity the restaurant was closed which was due to COVID and staffing. Continental breakfast was provided in the unit which was sufficient for our 2 day stay. The mezzanine unit was tastefully decorated and furnished Good recommendations in the visitors book with a jewel of a restaurant in town about 25 min walk down the seafront or £5 in a taxi (it was raining that night). Not much in Girvan itself but lots of beautiful surrounding places to walk or drive to.

Great location just outside Girvan. Room is well equipped with modern kitchen area. Check in was quick and smooth. The sunset over the Ailsa Craig, with great views looking towards Northern Ireland and Isle of Arran

Great service and beautiful views forever!
Great place and location. It is on the other side of the road from the ocean. GREAT service. They were asking you to check out at 10a which was a big bummer since we checked in after 9p. Guess that’s due to Covid, but perhaps they’ll let you stay to 11a if you ask. They totally stock your fridge with basics for breakfast and snacks. Great place!!

Great hotel and location!
Really impressed by the friendly owners and staff. The facilities in the room were superb with a microwave and fridge included, really well kept and very clean. Great location too right next to the beach.
