“I booked a room with a hot tub however, when I got there, it was not a hot tub, but a whirlpool tub inside of the bathroom. It was definitely not worth the $40 up charge. On top of that the only vending machine robbed us of $5 and the breakfast area was cute but not very well stocked and the waffle maker doesn’t work properly. It wasn’t a horrible stay but not what I expected. ”

“Booking was effortless through Expedia. We were greeted at the door by Pat, the owner. He gave us a quick tour and set a combo code to the front door of the house of our choosing. There is an open snack and coffee area, and "trail magic" shelf full of items that a hiker might need without a store nearby. The shared bathroom was WELL stocked. “The first room we were given was filthy from the beds to the floor. The beds had soiled linens on both! From top to bottom. The carpet was disgusting and had not been vacuumed as there were crumbs all over. Including a whole cookie inside ( in visible sight) the air conditioning unit.The clerk that checked us in was Awesome! “Staff was nice. Room was not clean but looks like sheets were ok. Door hinges were solid rust and had to push it closed. Entry switch turned on no lights and lights beside bed did not work (tried every combination with the wall switch). There was a Wendy’s drink in the freezer (would have preferred complimentary wine). There was something splattered on bathroom door. Top of refrigerator was filthy. Honestly, was afraid to touch anything. 216 FYI. ”
