“Vriendelijk personeel, proper, lekker eten, mooie kamer enkel het bed was aan de kleine kant we (koppel) sliepen in kamer 1 en ik viel bijna uit bed ‘s nachts 😕”

“A strange hotel. Great location, helpful staff, clean, comfortable room and very disappointing breakfast. If they could get this resolved this hotel would be fab. Our first breakfast experience was just plain awful for an hotel that has charged nearly £400 for a three night stay. Small buffet table with a few sad looking pastries. Toaster with only choice of bread which was the plastic sliced white stuff. My wife asked for poached eggs on toast. They arrived on a cold plate and not on toast....

“Seems to be a struggling hotel. Double bed was two singles pushed together. and not comfortable Heater in bathroom and hall were permanently on despite hot weather. General decor is tired and reception staff not very engaging although they send too many messages through Expedia. The fire alarm going off repeatedly after midnight was not good. The restaurant was entirely respectable with good service and decent food. Not that busy even in July. The gym and pool are good too.”

“Room was small and basic but clean and had a little kettle etc to let you make a cuppa in your room. The food was great we had a meal in the evening and breakfast in morning both very good. Staff welcoming. Plenty parking.”

“I used to stay here a lot, but have not for a long time and won’t be going back….its very run down now in places and the bus tours they are catering for have turned it into a very different hotel.”
