"We were in Cape Breton for the Celtic Colours festival. The Bras d'Or Lakes Inn was a lovely place to stay. Wendy (front desk) was warm and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the property is pet-friendly. There is a really nice canal walk minutes from the hotel. Highly recommended!"

"The room was clean and serviceable. The woman at check-in was very friendly and pleasant. The property is tired and needs some maintenance (the screen on our front door popped out very easily) but the location was good and we were just travelling through for one night. The price was great."

"I love how this motel is located at the mouth of Cape Breton and right by the ocean. Unfortunately it's also beside a railway track. If like me, you can sleep through the train noise throughout the night, it's actually a nice comfortable place to stay. I also appreciate that we were provided plenty of toiletries."
