The Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites

The Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites

8/10 Good
"The hotel is like a Dowager "down on her luck". Once beautiful, now a little worn. However, having said that, the location was excellent (across from the Public Gardens) and the staff were fabulous. The restaurant was fantastic 👌 Overall I'd recommend it. The downside was the room supposed to be facing the "courtyard"; it wasn't a courtyard at all. The halls had peeling wall paper, and we weren't thrilled with the housekeeping (wasn't quite to our standard). 4 out of 5."

Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel

Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Everything was good during our stay. The M club and Harbourstone food was amazing. The best part was that the property is right on the boardwalk, so taking a stroll or sitting harbour side is as simple as stepping outside the door of your hotel. There wasn't a thing I didn't like! Lovely place."

"Great location if your seeing and outside show at the hill. Walkable to that, we considered walkable to the waterfront. But it is further, and uphill on the way back."

Prince George Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a Crown Queen room. Check- in was quick but thorough details about amenities were provided. They even gave us a map of things to see/do in Halifax. Hotel location was close to all we wanted to see & we could easily drive to the waterfront. We enjoyed our accommodations that we extended our stay. Patrick was very helpful with finding us another room. Staff @ breakfast were attentive yet efficient. Food offerings were excellent. My son enjoyed the pool. Only issue was parkade elevator was broken & I had a large suitcase that I had to drag up all the stairs from the lowest level of the garage. However I noticed it was fixed within a couple hours. After whale watching in Digby, we are closing off our NS trip back at this hotel ✨ Looking fwd to our stay"
