This is good for a couple's long term stay or a solo traveller, but not great if you are in a party or people who are not comfortable sharing close quarters- rooms are not very big. One of the highlights of our stay was Mohammed, the concierge. He was incredibly helpful, arranging a hotel driver, booking a hair salon, and recommending excellent restaurants. His kindness and resourcefulness truly made our experience seamless and special.
The location is perfect — situated right along the Marina Waterfront. We loved taking a little rowboat (just 5 dirhams!) across the water into old town Rabat to explore the markets and shop local. It was such a charming and easy adventure.
We also spent a relaxing day by the pool and enjoyed the food there — everything we ate throughout the trip was delicious. Another sweet touch is how pet-friendly the Fairmont is. We adored greeting Tiffany, the hotel’s lovely dog, every day. She made our mornings brighter.
Rabat is such a beautiful city, and the Fairmont was the perfect home base. We can’t wait to return."
