This property was clean, convenient and perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep. It had a small fridge and microwave but did not have a coffee maker. Basic accommodations but clean and reasonable priced.

In the process of complete renovation. We had room 116 which was 1 of 2 that have been fully renovated. Very well appointed furnishings throughout. What we thought might be a problem was the huge truck stop across the road as the entrance and exit road for the big rigs runs right in front of the motel, but it wasn’t that bad at all. Nice and courteous staff. Will stay there again if we pass through.

For those on road, staying only 1-2 nights, this is an economical choice. It's an older motel but well maintained and very clean. The location is across the street from a truck stop, however the noise from the trucks can't be heard from inside the rooms. Hot water? Seems to be plentiful! Yes, I would stay there again.

Bargain price for a great stay
Exactly what we expected and needed for the night. We just needed a place to stay for the night on a long road trip to sleep and shower, and this was a great bargain. The room sas exceptionally clean, smelled good, bed comfy, shower worked great and our stay was overall quiet. The outside may be a bit outdated but our room was updated and very nice. Owner and staff were friendly. We would definitely stay again.

The property itself was old and dated. There is stains in the carpet in the bedroom as well as bugs. I went to the front office and everybody was gone. Around 7 o’clock people were hanging out on the outside of the office possibly trying to check in I am not sure. I would not come back, but the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly.

Basic Accommodations.
Good enough for a 1-night stay. Basic and clean. No coffee. No breakfast. No frills. Owner/Manager friendly. Check in/out simple. Don't expect much - just a place to sleep & shower.

Thank you for the review Michael. We provide basic accommodations at a low price. We do not provide a breakfast or coffee to keep costs and prices down. Guests generally use the money they saved to go have breakfast and coffee elsewhere. There is a Dunkin Donuts across the street and the Sapp Bros. travel center has a diner located inside.

Won't stay here again
It was late when we arrived and very dark. It did not feel safe. There was no one in the Lobby to check us in, in fact the door was locked and we had to call some one to let us in. WE were tired and didn't appreciate waiting. We had prepaid the room.

Hi Barbara, we had storms roll through here the night of your stay and some of our outdoor lights were not working properly. They have since been fixed.For security purposes, we lock our lobby at night as do most hotels. Our night manager did attend to you as quickly as he could.

This is a nice place to stay. Older motel, nothing fancy but very clean. Stayed three nights. Great value. Manager was friendly and asked several times if I needed anything. This is my first choice when I come through this area.

The room wasn’t clean. Cigarette(?) ashes on the phone, in non-smoking room. It advertised as “pet friendly”, not quite accurate. Wouldn’t allow a cat. I stopped because of a thunderstorm. I wish I had gone on down the road.

Most dishonest guest you could imagine. They first booked a room under one name and were refused a room due to having a cat. They rebooked room under a new name and tried to sneak the cat into a room. They were caught by our security cameras and were asked to leave. We offered a full refund, but they chose to take the cat elsewhere and stay in the room themselves. The room was clean. Guest is nit-picking out of embarrassment of being caught sneaking a cat into the room.Our policy is clear regarding pets. We absolutely do not allow cats. We only allow adults dogs non-vicious breeds.

My shower did NOT work. The inside of the room was nice but the outside of the motel looked old and run down. Could hear a lot of road traffic noise.

The Schitts creek comparison right on the money. Not fancy, but this place was very comfortable and clean. Excellent and surved its purpose, it gets a 10. Highly recommend.

Don’t judge a book by its cover
I made this reservation online weeks before my stay. I based it on location, cost, and positive reviews. I will be totally honest when I pulled into the parking lot I was taken aback. It looks like a reject for the set of Schitt’s Creek. As in this hotel was too ugly to be on the show. Based on the appearance alone, I drove across the street to the truck stop to see if I could find another room. There really wasn’t anything and I would have to eat my room fee because it was too late to cancel. I decided to give it a shot and I was very pleasantly surprised. I am assuming the owner was the one that greeted me and had my registration all set. In fact he called me earlier in the day to speed it up. I went to my room and it was very clean, spacious, newer furniture and appliances, and the AC unit worked like a champ. I was in the area for an Army reunion and wasn’t planning to be in my room very much, so this worked out well. If you are looking for an affordable no frills place to sleep, check this place out.

Outdated dirty rooms that smell musty, hard beds, tiny thin towels. But it was a room and I guess it was better than sleeping in the car.

If the room was that bad, how did the guest stay almost 24 hours in the room with not even a peep about any issue. Should have said something so we could’ve offered another room or canceled your reservation without a penalty.

Great for a motel!
Staying a motel off the interstate can always be questionable, but the owners were amazing. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. If you’re looking for a basic place to stay- this is it!

I’ve stayed here a few times now and the service has been great! The rooms are cozy and the area feels safe. It’s also a great price especially if you’re traveling and need a place to stay in between!

Booked online without knowing hotel or the area. Conveniently located by I-49 exit. Surrounded by all night gas stations and truck traffic. Outside entrances to all rooms. Only curtains on window were see-through, so no feeling of privacy. Otherwise, room was comfortable and quite clean. Staff was very friendly and professional. Large grassy yard for dog to use. Fair experience for a cheap hotel. Would consider staying here again when budget is an issue.

Great value! Comfortable stay.
Nice little motel with drive up in front of door parking. Comfortable beds, newer sinks, large mini fridge, desk and lounge chair. Feels cozy, clean, and safe. Great value!
