"Loud children playing “knock and run” was the highlight of me and my fiancée’s visit. We couldn’t make love any time we were there due to ongoing noise from children above and adults beside us. Property and Staff were great… the guest were not. "

"The hotel double booked my stay and i had a security officer jiggling the door handle at 1 am while i was sleeping. I had an early work meeting so i did not appreciate this. The room was dirty and had shaving cream all over the sink. Only plus was front desk staff was friendly. "

"Customer service at check in was not the best. Waited 15 minutes for a luggage cart. Check-in was not busy but in order to get a cart we had to go to the 6th floor and bring it down ourselves. We had 2 queen beds and they were not very comfortable."

"We had to change rooms when we got there we needed her refrigerator they changed the refrigerator the next refrigerator didn't work come to find out the outlets didn't even work there wasn't covers over the light switches or the outlets in the first room we were at the next room we went into at least the refrigerator worked my husband went in to take a shower you turn the water over on hot and the water went off the tub was filling up with water we had to again call the help desk tell them what was going on they were going to bring maintenance up to the room while we're waiting on them I got another phone call in the room we were at the person wanted to know what was wrong or what was happening I proceeded to tell him and he started getting an attitude like it was our fault because everything in the room was not made up to health code and we still had to put $100 deposit down on the room for our stay next time we go up to Kansas City we know where we're not staying I'll put extra money towards a hotel that at least we know the Water Works the outlets work the water drains out of the tub and the sink at the bathroom I forgot to mention that was also clogged they only had one maintenance guy for the whole side of that building and he was working on his off day I'll never stay there again ever staff was rude about the whole ordeal very poor this place doesn't really even deserve one star"

"We didnt get to stay there because i booked the wrong Lotus hotel."

"While I can’t place full blame on the hotel itself, my stay this past weekend was definitely impacted by a large motorcycle group that was also staying there. Unfortunately, the experience was far from relaxing. Despite there being many families present, the group was not very respectful—there were engines revving during quiet hours, loud music, and even arguments in the hallways early in the morning. There was also a strong smell of marijuana throughout the property. That said, the hotel itself was a bit of a surprise in a positive way. The outside appearance doesn’t quite match the inside, which is actually nice and updated. The room was clean, well-kept, and the beds were pretty comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fairly basic, nothing special but enough to get the day started. Overall, the environment during my stay made it very uncomfortable, and I was honestly ready to leave after the first night. I do hope the hotel takes situations like this into consideration in the future to ensure a better experience for all guests."

"The rooms smelled clean, they put us on the highway side of the building, very noisy most of the night with traffic. There was nobody available at the desk for checkout at 8 am, I left my keycard at the desk. The 1 staff person I dealt with was just there. Ok place to stay but that is all."
