โIt was a shame that I didnโt arrive until the early hours of the morning. I didnโt get to sample the facilities that were available as I had to leave in the morning.
The staff were lovely and the standard of the hotel is excellent.
The price I paid for the room and breakfast was also very reasonableโ

โSpent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh!
We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....
โStaff were friendly, efficient, happy and really looked after us well. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, food was stunning, great choice, super quality. The spa area was fab, just what we needed, only used the pool and steam room though. Rooms were great, really comfy beds and bedding. Would definitely recommend!โ
โAll staff were very friendly. The staff we had to interact with were efficient and polite. We had a family room and it was lovely, clean and the beds were very comfortable.
We also ate at the restaurant for dinner & breakfast the following morning. All was lovely, dinner was particularly tasty. โ

The room was very hot, even with the provided fan but the bed was comfortable.
Kept having to log back in on the internet, which elderly relatives found very tiresome.
It would have been useful to have more written information, such as a selection of tourist brochures.โ
