“quaint but alot of quirks”

“Breakfast was different both days that we stayed. It was fresh and good. The older lady taking care of the Breakfast was very kind and friendly. Our rooms where clean and everything was working. The pool was also great. The water was perfect. And clean. ”

“We booked this bed and breakfast for a weekend marriage conference. Before arriving we were called and told that they had to move our room to the carriage house due to a septic issue with the main manor. The carriage house is a smaller building on the property. “Clean, quiet, and comfortable. We had a relaxing night at the baymont with our dog. We enjoyed music bingo and drinks in the lounge. Staff were friendly and welcoming. If you’re a light sleeper ask for a room that isn’t on the side of the building closest to the road, a lot of commercial traffic. It didn’t bother us however. Would definitely stay at this location again as they are pet friendly, with a reasonable pet fee ($20) where other hotels in the area charge $50-75. Grassy areas around the...

“Such a lovely stay and overall experience — definitely one I’d repeat. If you’re visiting in winter, there are a few things to keep in mind: make sure to read all the information they provide. If you plan to use the jacuzzi, start heating it as soon as you arrive so you can really enjoy it; same with the sauna. I think I’d even pay a bit extra if the heating were electric, but honestly, if you have the right attitude, lighting it yourself becomes part of the fun and the experience. I...

“This was our third stay at Magnolia, the staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The stream is beautiful and they just opened a restaurant. The food was really good. My only complaint is a cleanliness. I would suggest that they do some quality control around the cleanliness because the lodge was not clean. The floor was extremely dirty. There was some hair in the top. I didn’t feel comfortable using the kitchen because it was not clean.. just something to focus on moving forward....
