โThe staff are very helpful and pleasant and make you feel very welcome. The room was very clean and well maintained. The hotel is a little out of town, however the food in the hotel is excellent and has a wide choice, with a reasonable selection of vegetarian food, so no real requirement to go out. โI stay here most years for an event I attend nearby. The rooms are good value, clean and have everything I need. It is low hassle, quiet and I sleep well. Breakfast is very basic Fruit, pastry and cereal bar hung on the door the day before but suits me for an early start.โ
โWe have stayed here before some years ago and had the same large twin room with all faciities and were very comfortable. The cod and chips we had for dinner were about the best we have ever had! Will book again.โ
โNice room had everything thatโs needed: comfortable bed, clean and spacious bathroom, TV, fridge, cooling tower, nice view of town and nearby hills. Breakfast with variety of options was delicious and service was excellent. Relaxing music in breakfast room was a great idea. The place has got good vibes. โ

โGreat place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.โ
โThis was easily the best place weโve stayed all of our honeymoon! The staff were so sweet, room was beautiful and had an amazing view - breakfast was great and the bar was top notch as well! Definitely hope to make it out this way and stay here again โ
