Highlander Mountain House
We wanted to love this. We stayed in the bunkhouse- that was what was available. It was NOISY. Think nyc apartment. The bathroom would use some TLC. Checking in was not friendly or seamless. Seemed like there was not a clear place to go and that we were in the way.

Long Cove Resort near Charlotte Airport
We ended up checking in late because we were picking our daughter up at knight, . We checked in with no problems, but our heater went out in the middle of the evening and it was very cold that night.
