“We loved that the property was close to town but very quiet. There’s a wonderful view of the mountains from the second floor wrap around porch. It’s a quaint establishment with some history. We enjoyed two outstanding breakfasts. Paul is a gracious, friendly and knowledgeable host. ”
“Our room was comfortable though it needed some minor maintenance - lightbulb out, loose shower grab bar. Breakfast was average. The hotel is very close to a grocery store, gas station and a few fast food choices. My dogs each got a gift bag at check-in. ”

“It was a beautiful location! The staff could not have been more helpful and kind. The room we had looked out over the falls...the sound was heavenly! The accommodation was well stocked, spacious, clean and recently renovated. Patio games, fire pits, grills, and Roku tv were available for entertainment. “Beautiful property only a few minutes from downtown Highlands. This historical property was refurbished with mid century design furnishings. The Oak Steakhouse is outstanding….well worth the splurge!
The only small criticism is the carpets need cleaning and the bath amenities need checking before someone occupies a room.

“Frank was very friendly from the beginning. Check in was smooth. Walked us over to our room. Went through everything and let us know to contact him if we needed anything. Room was nice and clean. Air conditioning worked very well and was very quiet. Site was very peaceful and relaxing. You are given the impression that you are a guest, not just a “customer”. Highly recommended.”
