“We thought Hintlesham Hall was superb. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and eager to please. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience. We enjoyed sitting in the pretty garden. We will definitely visit again!”

“Great as always… Lovely staff, easy parking and check in. Restaurants within walking area but their restaurant/bar is perfect… 30second walk from the hotel. Quiet and safe as you have to tap the card twice at the front and then room.
I really like this hotel and will be staying many more times over the summer.

“Check-in was quick and simple. Clean and spacious room with a good walk-in shower. However, the TV kept losing its signal which was rather annoying.
Breakfast is a hot and cold self-serve buffet. The evening menu has a good variety of choices.
On-site parking is limited and was full by about 16:00 on the two nights we stayed.”

“The room we had was a little small but adequate for a short stay. Price very reasonable. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast, food was good but they didn't replenish quickly enough. We had to ask for more coffee, pastries and eggs many times. However, the staff always acted to resolve the issues as soon as they could.”

“The rooms. at the Essex Golf and Country Club are very nice and super clean. Be aware there is no in-room ac that we could find and just the smallest desk fan in the room but perhaps this is only an issue for 3 weeks a year!
We arrived late (9.30pm) and check was smooth, went to the room and unpacked and notice in the room directory suggested the bar was open until 10.30pm. We meander up only to be informed that last orders was at 10pm so we would only be permitted to purchase one drink. Then...

“The ground floor room was fine, with easy access to the parking area. The shower room was very clean and modern; the bedding was immaculate on a comfortable bed; it was a shame the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. We would have liked a small fridge and a second opening window as the weather was exceedingly hot, but we appreciated the air conditioning. We couldn't see the point of the massive television, that was too close to watch anyway.
The parking area was roomy and secure.

“I paid for a room with a window the window does not open.
Was so hot no air on.
The room was not clean stains on the bedding the floor was covered in dust and human hair.
You go into the bathroom there was a huge nail sticking out on the floor.
Booked 2 people only got 1 towel?
The staff behind desk was nice.
But will never go back.”
