Hotel is clearly focused on the American tourist that likes to drink around the clock. They seem to be the priority. The swim up bar is just packed with people drinking and yelling and the music is so loud in the afternoon. They seem to be the center of the attention, not the rest of the guests. We probably caught a spring break crowd, so teens and twenty year olds intoxicated around the common areas was a common sight. All of the above I could tolerate, but the food, oh my god, it is really, really inferior than it has been in the past. I’ve been to a couple of RIU hotels in the past (2019 and 2024) and it’s been getting worse and worse every time. It is a shame because we were planning another short trip in the fall and I can’t come back here. I would because of the facilities, and the beach, but I can’t eat this food again for 4 days. PLEASE, do something about it. "
