"The owner was so sweet and they left us the sweetest note. For the most part it was quiet, we saw a few raccoons which was fun and the lodge cause a cute vintage charm. Just outside of the city with a location easy to get to and from every where. I HIGHly recommend staying if you want to stay in a time capsule."

"Great stay. Even with temperatures hovering around 100, our room stayed cool. Quiet grounds, well kept.Great pool and jacuzzi and play area! Room was fine. The staff was outstanding - answered any questions about the area and the facilities. Great attention to detail, even remembering our dog's name. It's little things like that make a place the kind of place you want to come back to. The only negative was the wifi was spotty and weak; probably because of where our room was, but it would be nice if they could boost the power a bit. We probably spent more time in the room than we normally would have because of the extreme heat. Overall this was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it."

"Great central location. Alex at the front desk was super helpful with our room accommodations and with helping us plan our visit around town. The hotel is of course old (1905) but is charming and well maintained, our bed was very comfortable and we had a nice jacuzzi bathtub in our room. I would definitely recommend this hotel."
