“This is a lovely quaint old hotel with heaps of character and friendly staff. It's ideally situated for Bamburgh beach and castle with lots of walks around the Seahouses area.”

We booked in for dinner which was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend. The area is beautiful, we will definitely be back! ”

“East House is a lovely old property. We had a large room with a great view across farm fields (there were cows!), and the sea, you could also see Dunstanburgh castle in the distance. The host was really welcoming and friendly. Despite what it says in the description the beds are fully made up and there is a good supply of towels in the bathroom so you don’t need to bring sheets etc. nice touches in the room included a kettle, coffee, fresh milk, cereals, biscuits, shampoo, hair conditioner,...

“Little gem of a property, full of charm. Spotlessly clean, super comfy bed and excellent shower. Beautiful view of the castle. Stone entrance steps steep and lots of narrow stairs, however this is expected in older properties. An excellent stay, would highly recommend. ”
