โSituated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. โ
โEvery where in the hotel was very clean and well presented, the dining room was spacious and comfortable, breakfasts were amazing. The bar was also good and although we didn't eat the food looked good. The hotel and bar are very dog friendly. Everyone was warm and welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay. If in the area we would definitely stay here againโ
โThe bed was very comfortable and roomy and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We have already recommended it to several friends! We would definitely stay again. โ
โJennifer on reception was amazing. There was a mix up with our booking but she made it her personal mission to fix things for us. It must have taken her several hours but she saved the day and its so rare to get such amazing customer service!!!!โ
โNice welcoming hotel. Family room was lovely, main areas bit tired but character and period style to some extent. Breakfast good, views lovely on the river side. Unfortunate for anyone on the courtyard side still asleep that the recycle lorry emptied all the glass bins at 07:50. But would return. Kelso itself lovely place too. โ
โStaff were brilliant polite friendly and went out of their way, food was very good and the glamping pods are fully equipped for all of your needsโ
โI loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley.
I would definitely stay here again.โ
โFriendly helpful staff, lovely breskfast & other food options. Also shop selling gifts but also some handy household items.
Would really recommend.โ
โHad a really great 2 night stay. Room was lovely, so comfortable. It was a great period style - but still provided for todayโs needs - great wi-if, large shower, plenty of sockets. Ellen looked after us really well and couldnโt do enough for us. As for the breakfast - superb! Great choices and didnโt need lunch! โ
โWe were early by half an hour, abrutly told by lady on the bar that check in was from 4. I only asked if this was where we checked in.
First impression matter. Otherwise a lovely stay. Would return.โ
โWe booked this very last minute and got the last room! It was advertised as small and delivered. Beggars cant be choosers but it was clean and comfortable. The car park is small so unless you're there early its one of the many privately owned car parks in the town and harbour. Beware of the time limits and restrictions. Hotel has a lovely outside seating area in the late afternoon sunshine. Didn't have diner at the hotel but breakfast was buffet style with an excellent choice for all the fussy...
