"Do your research before booking. Terrible location, no convenient parking, very old, run down building, nothing worked properly. TV didn’t work, shower tub was damaged and poorly repaired, moldy windows, old, loud heater that hissed and popped all night even when not in use, broken motion light in the closet kept going on and off all day and night, and you will hear people screaming outside all night. The room was decently clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable, and the saving grace is the staff, they were very kind. But I would not stay here again. The restaurant, Sofiya, across the street is really good. "

"Clean place. With good breakfast. Stay four nights but the room just clean twice. No bottle water supply except two from front desk. No hot water boiling kettle in room. Room electronic such as phone, alarm clock, iron etc stay in last century old fashion style. Only the newer equippment is the flat screen TV. You need to bring along your own comb, tooth brush, slipper, hair care and bath roth. It is a bare room with almost nothing."

"We just completed our stay at the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a beautiful view of the San Francisco skyline. The hotel is right at the start of the cable car route on California Avenue which made it a fun way to get around the city."

"What a charming hotel! All the staff were welcoming, kind, and very accommodating. As a VIP member I received a chilled bottle of white wine and some delicious popcorn! The room was spacious enough to hold 5 luggage bags!! I was traveling for between two work conferences. I traveled with my sister and we had two queen beds. The queen beds were so comfortable, it made some mornings difficult to get out of bed and head to our work conference! I never made it to breakfast but did have a cup of coffee one morning and it was good. The restaurant downstairs looked charming. The hotel is about a 5 min uber drive to the convention center. Traffic is bad in the mid-afternoon. Otherwise uber everywhere. The Hotel is located around a safe area however 2-3 blocks wandering you could end up in uncomfortable territory. The front desk staff is amazing at helping out with directions, recommendations, and are even kind enough to bring your door dash/UberEATS to your room. The cleaning staff are prompt and meticulous. Overall, this charming hotel was a great stay. I would Definity recommend this hotel to anyone (family, couples, or singles). I will definitely be staying here my next visit! "

"With the exception of the shuttle ending at 11pm and missing it due to a flight delay it was fine. Other local hotels have shuttles operating after this, Bay Landing why dont you?"
