“We had to change rooms for the second night due how I booked the 2 night stay at the last minute - my fault. But must admit I was glad to move as the first night in the cottage across the car park was very noisy with unhappy guests (one off ? ) and banging doors (big sign on door - so regular occurrence?) ! “I recommend upgrading to a superior room for a much more luxurious space and nice view. I had a lovely room and excellent view of the front lawn. My friend who had a regular room had an okay room with a view of the back parking lot! “Staff was dismissive and rude.
No WiFi no outlet for phone charger- told this is the UK.
TV was not working. The mattress was old. The worst mattress that I ever slept on.
Decent breakfast.
I would not recommend staying here.”
