"We really loved our stay! It is a beautiful spot and the home is well built in the high winds. We had a few small issues we noticed and the hosts were quick to take care of them while we were there. We did not quite realize the altitude was as high as it was, (we were coming from 1,000 feet) but the view and beauty made it worth it. The sauna, hot tub and wood stove were all wonderful ways to stay warm in the chilly winter. "

"Short overnight but very nice staff made check in and stay very nice"

"The hotel lobby smelled of smoke. The desk attendant was friendly. We went to our room and the floors were soiled and it had a heavy smell of smoke. My wife has asthma and couldn't stand to be in the room so I returned the key cards within 15 minutes. The desk attendant understood and would not have charged except I paid through hotels.com so he couldn't stop the room charge. I purchased the travel insurance through hotels.com but they are disputing the refund because it doesn't fit one of their very exact definitions of an issue. At this point I'm disputing with the credit card company and still emailing with the travel insurance people. Be aware the motel is inexpensive for a reason and the travel insurance appears to be a scam because they won't stand behind it to refund your money."

"Average hotel, breakfast was the perk. Room above us leaked into our room. We were woken up in the middle of the night by the GM Lady and moved. They did nothing to reimburse us or honor us for the inconvenience. But this means little compared to the blessing Jesus bestows on us for our lives where we fail. I’m sure the hotel will clean things up."

"The guest rooms were spacious and mostly comfortable. A Nespresso machine was provided in the rooms, but the coffee was not restocked daily. The guest room could’ve been cleaned with a bit more attention to detail. Floors were not fully swept, drapes were broken and wouldn’t close not close all the way to block light. Room service must be requested daily if you want clean towels, bed made etc. For the price of the room, I feel this service should be standard. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We ran out of hot water the first day, as the hotel seemed to be fully booked. The worst part about our stay was the atrocious artificial smell that was pumped into the lobby and restaurant area. It was overwhelming and toxic. We were unable to enjoy these areas, as the toxicity gave me an instant headache. It is quite disappointing that a hotel that prides itself on sustainability would allow such poison to inundate their guests and employees. We loved the location and ease of use of this property, but definitely would not stay again unless this artificial toxic scent was removed."

"At check-in I got a receipt for a different (slight lower) amount than what I had already been charged online. I don't know if that was in addition to or instead of the online charge. I like it cool in the room for sleeping and even thought I had the AC set as low as it would go (62F), it never cooled to anywhere near that and in fact would shut off frequently. Neither the tub nor the sink drained properly, which suggests they've either never been cleaned (or staff would notice and do something about it) or nobody cares to fix it. Blinds didn't close completely and a porch light was on outside all night, so it didn't really get dark. If the receipt I got at the desk was the right price, then all of this is acceptable. If the price I paid online was correct, it was too much. If what I paid was the total of both, then I'll be asking for a refund of about half of it."

"It was a dump. Homeless people were at the entrance. Room stunk. Didn’t clean our room after the first night. Could not get a refund. We even tried to find a new hotel. Didn’t happen. We cleansed our hotel room with what we bought. Two stories. Would not stay on the first level with homeless people outside. Why should I request to have new towels? Staff was friendly. Bit room and area was a dump"
