“Delightfully friendly and kind hosts. Very clean place. Simple rooms, with everything you need, and shared washrooms. Nice breakfast. The shuttle to the lift is nice (although also easily walkeable in 10-15 minutes). The onsen bath downstairs is a definite bonus.”

“The room was clean, the bathroom and shower were a bit run down but usable. If you plan to ski or eat at Nozawa Onsen it makes it very difficult. The first shuttle from Togario Onsen to Nozawa is at 9:24am and the last one was o round 4pm. No taxi after 6, so you cannot eat dinner in Nozawa staying here. While it is not the hotels responsibility, it made dining options very limited. The front desk staff was unfriendly, apart from the hosts wife who tired her best to arrange accommodation. ”

“Upon arriving during the two-hour check-in window, I was puzzled as to if anyone worked here. I walked in the front, no one. Went around back, just a couple ski resort patrons. I was sure I was in the right building from the photos, but it looked more like an abandoned building with some squatters in the form of skiers. ”
