“Gleich beim Hafen sehr gut gelegen. Hatten das Zimmer mit Terrasse, welches zu oberst ist und sehr schön und sauber war. Aber sehr steile und lange Treppe. Konnten bereits um 11 Uhr einchecken und war sehr freundlich. Fürs Frühstück im Kaffee zwei Eingänge weiter konnte man 3 Sachen auslesen, welches in Ordnung war. ”

It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. So convenient! The hotel staff themselves are so accommodating, as well. The staff during our stay didn't speak...

“Amazing Staff”

“Kristian, the host, greeted me warmly as I was walking up the alley. He quickly grabbed my bag (which was very heavy) and proceeded to walk me to my room. He then led me upstairs to their rooftop patio and pulled out a paper tourist map and showed me all the sights and transportation options. I was only staying one night as I was joining a boat the next day so I didn’t have time to explore as much as I would’ve liked. “We stayed at La Dolce Vita for 3 nights and it was a very comfortable place. The room was big, clean and comfortable with air conditioning and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. We had breakfast included and it was served not in the property but on the Belvedere where the view is something that words cannot describing it. La Dolce vita is located approximately 10 mins walk from the marina very easy to get to. Milena, the owner, was very helpful and provided us with all the information about Procida....

“We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. ”
