“Spacious rooms with a comfortable bed. Good choice of coffee and teas in the room. Roberts DAB radio provided but reception hit and miss. Large wall mounted TV. Very clean. Powerful shower with a choice of normal or "rain". Good choice at the breakfast buffet with freshly cooked options from the kitchen. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. “A beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well! ”

“The room was very clean. The building itself is very old but is kept in a very clean condition. The staff were friendly, attentive nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really good as there was so many gluten free options to choose from and it was cooked to perfection. Parking was at the back of the hotel and felt safe at all times. This is an Ideal location for visiting the town with so much choice of places to eat. ”

“A simple and modest country village pub with very friendly owners who took great pains to welcome and look after me. Arriving late, they had kept a good supper for me. The bedroom was large, clean and nicely old fashioned. The old church nearby chimed through the night but did not wake me. As I left before breakfast, the landlords left me a sandwich and apple. In no way smart and modern but with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. ”
