โSuch a lovely team who were attentive and anticipative of my needs. The room had the essentials with an en-suite. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. The premises is by the shore which added to its sparkle. Would definitely visit again. โ
โWe stayed in a beautiful room with a view of the stunning front gardens. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The beach along the North Sea is a short distance away, with views of Red Castle. Additionally, the full Scottish breakfast included with our room was delicious.โ
โMy daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location, nestled in its own tree filled garden, was relaxing and the hotel itself still retained the charm of the family home it was. We ate in the restaurant: the food was excellent, plenty of choice for two vegetarians like us, and the staff were very helpful. We also tried some cocktails which were also excellent. Our stay was relaxing, enjoyable and good value for money.โ
โWhat a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.โ
โWe loved this place and neighboring fields of gold(barley, beans, wheats... etc). Close to the mesmerizing Dunnotar castle(less than 15 mins drive). Breakfast was filling. Owners were very kind. They even allowed us to charge our rented electric car. Will definitely be back here again. โ

โWoW, I wish we could have stayed longer! Room was spacious, house is huge and extremely comfortable. Free beverages and snacks! Breakfast was unbelievably awesome!!! The smoked salmon was the best I ever had. Thank you so much, the hosts go way above and beyond!!!!โ
โWe booked an overnight here while attending a surprise 50th birthday party. We were met by Bruce who showed us to our apartment, we were over the moon with it, it was absolutely 1st class. We finished our night off in The Star Hotel bar downstairs, so was just a short trip upstairs to bed, which i thought would have been noisy tbh, but we never heard a thing. We would definitely recommend staying here, great little place.โ
โAbsolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. โ
