โIt was very special experience to stay at Japanese traditonal house with my family. It was a little bit far from the main sightseeing site but we were ok because we had a car. Kinkakuji was especially awesome.โ

โThe Koubai suite was wonderful. The outdoor bath is very private and peaceful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the private garden was lovely. This is my favourite room in Japan so far!โ
โQuite a unique experience with traditional Japanese furniture and room layout. The owner clearly put a lot of thoughts in building out this hotel by integrating modern appliances into traditional Japanese house architecture. Beautifully decorated garden. Staff were super helpful.โ
โNo spa, no fitness club, no other facilities but very private and quiet. Room was clean and spacious. View of the Nijo castle is not what you would have expected but good for a walk around the castle. Very near from subway and 10 mins walk to JR Nijo. Staffs are kind and well-trained.โ
โOur kids and us love staying here. The staff was super easy to communicate with. All the check-in and checkout instructions were super detailed. We had a little miscommunication on checkout about where the key cards were and the online staff did they due diligence to make sure the keys were where I said I put them. "We got a free upgrade to suite room, so we had great time on our first trip to Japan. If i visit Kyoto again, I would like to stay at the Park Hotel. (The front desk were very friendly and the transportation was convenient.)"
