“Lovely property, secluded but good shuttle options to ski field (less than 5 mins) and twice daily to Karuizawa. Staff were friendly - used Google translate as there were not many western travellers. Amazing Onsens - all gender seperate apart from private but open 24 hours. Food was great - and a shop for snacks, souvenirs and drinks. Great for winding down and experiencing the snow and small field close by.”

“One of a kind place where I would like to visit every season to experience how Hoshinoya changes per season. Recommend to book a dinner 2days prior to visit, since there very few options for dinner place. ”

“The room is quite old and seems a smoking room, which smells a little. It is quite old and worn-out, not clean. But, it is acceptable given the price in the neighborhood. The lobby is good and spacious.”

“룸 사이즈, 청결도, 조망 등 모두가 맘에 들었습니다. 체크인 체크아웃시 직원들 친절도도 좋았고 호텔 풍광도 아주 좋았습니다. 조식은 훌륭했으나 첫날 조식은 30분 이상 기다려야 하는 불편함이 흠이었습니다. 전반적으로 다시 찾고 싶은 좋은 호텔이었습니다.”
