โVery warm reception. Located a few minutes walk to the river where the casino boats are. Serves fantastic breakfast with a wide variety of choices. In-house restaurant was as good. Taxis available at the doorstep too.
However the wifi was a bit erratic โ
โVery quiet local beach nearby, practically to ourselves during the day but a bit busier overnight. Much nicer than the tourist beaches
Without a car, would be reliant on taxi etc to get anywhere else.
The service was amazing, the kokum welcome drink was lovely!โ
โAmazing stay for a week. We were treated like family by the entire staff and everything from food to amenities were top notch. A special thanks to the entire staff in the restaurant to the reception to the gym/pool/spa for making our stay outstanding and memorable. They also celebrated my Momโs birthday with decorations, cake and special gifts. Thank you so much and we shall be back soon.โ
โAwesome traditional Portuguese home to kick back and relax. Very friendly staff and the owner is a prince of a guy - Sunny. Would definitely recommend. โ
โWe met the owner at breakfast who organised for a chocolate cake to be delivered to our room for afternoon tea so we felt very spoilt. The Junior Suite was spacious with a separate lounge seating which was very comfortable.โ

โEverything about Resort Rio is attractive.
Highlights were the huge swimming pool (which unfortunately we couldn't use due to Covid, however we did click loads of pictures around the entire property), the staff, the food and ambiance.
Coming back here on every special occasion as the staff here makes it much much more special.โ
