โJennifer, the agent who checked us in was awesome! There were restaurants in walking distance. Walgreens close by. For finger lakes experience, you have to drive. โ
โEverything great.
Only disappointment was complimentary breakfast buffet from 8 to 10. Get there before 9:30 or you will be scraping scraps from the pans. Attendant looked at them before me, closed the lids and did nothing. What was left was inedible.โ
โThe view of the lake from the room was outstanding. It was so pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy our morning coffee. We were in Watkins Glen for Captain Bobs Dinner
Cruise which was just a short ride away I would definitly recommend a stay at this hotel. Very basic but adequate.โ
โClose to town but quiet and relaxing. Pool, gazebo and some rockers outside your door for enjoying. Danish type things and coffee are only options. Fine for us. Beds were great.โ
โThe cabins were quaint and peaceful. The fresh farm to tableโฆmade from scratch breakfast was superb! The homemade grape juice was made from their vineyard. They gave great recommendations on where to go and restaurants. A wonderful experience! โ
โI booked a night at this hotel as my wife and I were driving back from Canada. We hadn't previously planned on staying in Watkins Glen but thought it would be a nice break in the trip. After reading the reviews I booked The Benjamin and it didn't disappoint. It was a well maintained boutique hotel and nicely centralized for everything in the area. We're hoping to spend more time in Watkins Glen in the future and we'll definitely be staying here.โ
