“If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds. “From the first welcome to the final farewell, it was a joy to stay there. Substantive breakfasts, pet friendly, old manor house setting with great views. Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north.”

“This is a lovely quaint, quiet country inn/accomodation, which is on its way to be something special. The welcome, cust service and food were top notch. The owners have just recently taken over and you can see how wonderful this place is going to be, with everything being made future proof. They are updating it whilst still providing a wonderful experience. It’s also dog friendly in the bedrooms too (with beds and snacks for your K9 friend). I will definitely be going back. “Very clean and tidy with a fantastic sea view which gave my kids additional pleasure. Breakfast was super 👏👏👏 and my kids were given due attention. Parking was limited but I was able to park on site without issue. I will recommend you won't regret it. ”
