“Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. “Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. ”
