โI liked that it was a very quaint, pretty little cottage in a very good location - within walking distance of the town centre but not too close for it to be noisy. The passing traffic in the morning can be quite noisy at times but nothing terrible at all. The lady who owns the property has obviously put a lot of thought into little extras and items you might find useful when staying away from home, which were greatly appreciated. We were made to feel very welcome and the cottage is beautifully...
โEasy to self-check in, perfect location, and lovely, clean rooms. The views are wonderful no matter where you're situated in the hotel. I've stayed here many times and will be back for many more. My only minor complaint is that it's a shame the car park isn't subsidised. Other than that, I can't fault this place.

โWe stayed for one night whilst travelling through. The staff we met were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was fresh, tasteful, well equipped and very clean. We had a full cooked breakfast which was perfectly cooked and the service was faultless. We would definitely stay again and have no hesitation in recommending The Spilman Hotel.
We marked down comfort slightly from Excellent to Good because we had a very hot night (August) the fan in room was very welcome but not sure if our...
โFood is excellent and beds are very comfy. It's old-fashioned in that it's a conversion of an older building, so windows are single-glazed and the doors open with actual keys. But the rooms have everything you'd expect from a professionally run establishment. Staff are all friendly and professional though you sometimes have to seek them out โ hardly surprising as there are only six rooms so they can't have someone permanently on duty.โ
โThe reception staff were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble. I left my phone charger at home and they lent me one for the weekend. The room was a single and clean, although the decor was dated (the description did say it was a Victorian building). I had breakfast both mornings at The Galley Restaurant which was an all you can eat. The food was hot and fresh and had everything you would expect for a buffet restaurant. I also ate in the hotel for the Saturday evening and was made to feel...
โStayed in room 3, amelia earhart room for 1 night. Room was clean but dated, the windows are single glazed so trains and traffic can be heard clearly, shower cubicle could do with a bit of elbow grease under door on inside to get rid of the mould. Could hear the other customers talking in the restaurant until late while in the room so of you're a light sleeper and need an early night, could be problematic.
But, the staff are truly lovely and the food is fantastic. Would definitely stay again.โ
โI needed somewhere to stay for several nights while i toured around Wales, and thank goodness i chose Bryncoch. A wonderful stay, run by a lovely friendly and helpful couple. They catered for my dietary needs and gave me a lush breakfast every morning......Andrea.โ
โGenerally very good.
One night stay for a car show at Carmarthen Showground.
Parking - access i stight to some spaces but plenty to chose from.
Check-in - good, friendly, polite an dquite quick.
Entry to room - this let the stay down, the room had not been cleaned from previous guests, check-in staff very concerned and helpful, asked to wait in the bar whilst room was prepared and free round of drinks due to issue.
Room - comfortable but needs a little attention e.g. with toilet lid up you...
