"Room was not clean with multiple stains on the walls and furniture, dust on tables/cabinets, and mine had two old socks in the room when I arrived. Location is fine given the close access to the tram but further away from the more interesting parts of the city than I initially thought. Staff was okay, although when I arrived, the middle-aged white woman working at the desk gave me a deadpan stare for several seconds before finally greeting me which I thought was strange. Breakfast was a let-down with not much variety or fresh tasting food and the cups did not look clean. Overall, if I ever come back to Amsterdam, the likelihood of me returning to this hotel is next to zero. "

"I was initially reluctant to book the hotel due to some negative reviews but I'm not really sure why the reviews were bad. The room is a bit small but it is perfectly adequate, clean and thoughtfully designed. Yes the bathroom was translucent but don't think it was completely see through. It's only 5 minute walk to the terminal so the convenience was also a plus!"

"Had a pod room and a/c was turned off around 11pm, which meant the room got hot as there was zero ventilation. Could not sleep! It turns on at 6am. Toilets and showers hadn't been cleaned during my stay. Would not recommend a pod room. Staff are lovely and the reception area is open and welcoming. "

"Location of the hotel is a bit far to the central but it is close to the tram and bus station which takes 30 minutes to the central. The staff was really kind and helpful. I didn't have any issues with my stay overall. But I have found the cleaning insufficient. The sheets weren't changed during cleaning. "
