“Little old but clean and kind”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. We learned about the history of the Merritt House from the owner and her grsndson, Tanner. It is within walking distance to Cannery Row, museums, and the aquarium. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. We will definitely stay there again when in the Monterey area.”

“I was a little scared after reading some of the other reviews, but the towels were white and the bedding smelled clean. I missed out on the champagne check in and the wine, that would have been nice. The location is great. My only complaint was the check in wasn't really friendly and we had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up at the front desk.”
