“A great place for a couple of days staycation. The personell was amazing. Fantastic food, specially the breakfast. An old mansion turned in to a hotel as I understand. It is not super modern and has a bit of wear and tear but for me it is part of the charm. Very calm surroundings. Maybe not for the traveller that is looking for an action filled adventure. For me, that wanted a couple of lazy days, away from "it all", this was perfect.”
“We were not lucky on the night we stayed. There was a power outage late night in parts of Kenya and hotel’s power generator was on and it made loud noises. We could not sleep well. We understood that it was not hotel’s fault. All the staffs there are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and sufficient. We will come back after our safari trip and we hope room will be quiet.”

“I traveled to Nairobi, where I was picked up by a staff from hotel. Stayed at the Troy hotel for two weeks. I had plenty of dishes to choose from. The staff checked on me to make sure I was comfortable. I was greeted going out and coming in. I was asked what would I like for breakfast the next morning. This experience was delightful being a single traveler. I recommend Troy hotel. It gave a family friendly atmosphere.”
