โThe staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The rooms were comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions."โ
โA great place to stay! And I was in ground level which is so much easier when you're riding a motorcycle! Quiet. Easy walking to nearby restaurants. And the flowering Rose of Sharon bushes in front are gorgeous!!โ
โWe had 2 rooms on second floor for a family visit in the August long weekend. Both rooms were clean and newly painted. Small rooms but cleaned well and everything comfortable for a stay.โ
โSecond time staying here before heading into Algonquin for backcountry camping. Great launching off point to get into the park early. Staff are friendly and have accommodated my late check in each time. Rooms are clean, simple and the price point is spot on. โ
โNice place, Fire pit, volley ball and bbq available with friendly, helpful and chill owners who reach out before you arrive and answers questions about the area! Very close to the park ! Iโd come back for a longer stay.โ
โThe room was clean and had a super comfortable bed. The facility included a common room, bar and restaurant. The outdoors had a bbq picnic area and a fire pit area. The owner of this establishment is an outstanding guy that went above and beyond to help us and tend to our needs. Our only suggestion would be to have a coffee machine in the room and /or a vending machine in common room. Location is mint-just steps away from the beach and boat launch. We will return and we do recommend.โ
โThe resort in older but well maintained and well kept, incredibly picturesque. The only negative might be the hill and stairs you need to navigate to get to the beach. Anyone with mobility issues would struggle. It didn't affect us but it might be a issue for some. All of that said, I realize that the resort can't really help it but maybe making it obvious to travelers would be helpful. โ
